Our neighbors went to the dump today, and guess what they found there.

Yep. These little pups were just dumped there. So, since the neighbors are only in the area occasionally, and since they were leaving....we said we would find them homes. When we got them to the house we discovered that these pups were covered with ticks. Hundreds upon hundreds of them. It was truly sickening. We are in the process of cleaning them up. The ticks are coming off, and as far as we can tell, there are only a few left. Once these little ones are vermin free, we are going to give them away.
Aren't they cute? I think they are some kind of Rottie mix.
Anyway, we aren't keeping them. We have plenty of dogs already. We have Rocky, as mentioned before. Currently we are also looking after Bella, John's daughter's dog. She is a pit bull, and the sweetest, gentlest dog I have ever seen. I love this dog. I want to keep her. She loves me. It's a mutual thing. This is Bella.

And finally, after years of wanting, I have Jackson. Jackson was my sister's dog. He is a long-haired chihuahua. He is the one that tangled with the rattlesnake some time back. This dog is so cute and has such an amazing personality. I'm so glad we have him now. Don't let his size fool you. He is Alpha Dog around here. He rules the roost. Check out the underbite!!! Love him to pieces!!!
